This is the farm, where I work, where I live. A new barn is being built for the sheep, the fields are dormant due to winter freeze and snow, and current barn to keep warm the pigs and sheep. The farm consists of grazing fields for the animals during summer, fields for crops, a market garden, food forest, and play area for the children. Norwegian farms are very small compared to American farms, especially the mammoth monoculture farms of the Midwest. The land is used wisely here by implementing permaculture, crop rotation, companion planting, greywater systems, and composting.
